Registration deadline: 6/12/2025, at 6:00 PM ET. **Hawaii Association Championships- entry fees $10-14 per event ***Has separate entry fees (entry fees TBD) and must qualify from Hawaii JO Championship performances Youth Age Divisions for Association and National Championship A competitor must compete in his/her age division only. There will be no "moving up" in any events, including relays. Competitors in the 6 & under, 8 & under, 9-10 and 11-12 divisions may compete in a maximum of three events, including relays. Competitors in the 13-14, 15-16, and 17-18 divisions may compete in a maximum of four events, including relays. Combined events are not included in the event count. National Championship competition is for 7 or older. All athletes must be 2025 members of USATF in good standing. USATF memberships may be purchased online and members must be age-verified before participating in most competitions. Youth competitions typically take place in two-year age divisions. These age divisions provide young athletes the opportunity to compete with other athletes of similar ability. The age divisions for competition year 2025 are as follows: 6 and under* 2019 or later 7 - 8 2017-2018 9 - 10 2015-2016 11 - 12 2013-2014 13 - 14 2011-2012 15 - 16 2009-2010 17 - 18 2007-2008** ADULTS: compete in either Open (O) 19 & older or Masters (M) 30 & older in 5 year divisions * Per USATF Rule 300.1 (c) “Athletes must be at least seven (7) years of age on December 31 of the current year to compete at the Youth Athletics or Junior Olympic National Championships." ** Athletes born in 2006 are also eligible if they do not turn 19 on or before 07/27/2025 (final day of the USATF National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships) are eligible to compete in the Young Men's and Young Women's divisions. This extended eligibility does not apply to cross country events. MEET ORDER OF EVENTS: subject to minor changes, but generally, this is the typical order of events: Track Events Coaches Meeting 3000/5000m (usually 1st during morning meets and after the 200m for afternoon meets) Short HURDLES 11-12, 13-14,15-16, 17-18 boys and girls, open/masters Men/Women * 100m (All Ages) * 1500m (All Ages) * 4x100 Relay All Ages (All competitors must be of the same age group.) * 400m All Ages * Long HURDLES 13-14 yr (200, 30"), 15-16, 17-18, Open (400, 30" for women, 36" for men) * 800m (All Ages) * 200m (All Ages) * 3k 11-12 age group and above * 4 x 800 Relay 11-12 age group and above (All competitors must be of the same age group.) * 4x400 Relay All Ages (All competitors must be of the same age group.) *Note: Because number of participants in each event is unknown, number of heats will vary. Next event will start as soon as all the heats for any previous event are finished – absolute times of events cannot be planned or followed. Announcer will give first and last call for all events. Field Events Shot Put: All ages, beginning with 13-14 yrs (3 attempts) Long Jump, Girls: age group starting with 13-14 to Masters, then younger ages Long Jump Boys: Same as above Pole Vault 13-14 & above By height; coaches must be present Discus Boys, followed by Girls, ascending ages; three attempts High Jump All Ages except under 6's (15-16 and above first, then younger) two attempts to 3'6", three attempts thereafter Triple Jump Boys, then girls. start with 13-14 & up. 3 attempts. |
